We would rather know one system properly
Bookkeepers who support four platforms know each of them adequately. We know Xero cold — the bank rules, the tracking categories, the Making Tax Digital pipeline, the awkward edges.
That depth is why our fixed fees work. We are faster, we make fewer mistakes, and you get the benefit of both.

We check what you have
Which system, how many years, whether VAT and payroll are involved. This determines what can be converted automatically.

Data comes across
Two years of transaction history as standard, plus open invoices, supplier balances and your chart of accounts — tidied on the way through rather than copied wholesale.

We reconcile the join
Opening balances agreed against your last set of accounts, so the two systems genuinely tie up. This is the step most rushed migrations skip.

Feeds, rules, and go
Bank feeds connected, bank rules built, receipt capture set up on your phone. We run both systems in parallel for one month before switching the old one off.
Before you move
Will I lose my history?
No. We bring two years of transactions across as standard and can go further back if you need it. We also keep an export of the old system archived, so nothing is ever genuinely gone.
How long does it take?
A straightforward move is done inside a week. Add VAT, payroll and several years of history and it is two to three weeks. We agree the timeline before starting.
What does it cost?
For clients taking a monthly plan, a standard migration is included in onboarding. Standalone migrations are quoted separately once we know what we are moving.
Can I keep my accountant?
Yes, and most people do. Xero gives your accountant their own access, so they can work in the same file we do. If they are unfamiliar with Xero we are happy to talk them through how we have set it up.
